This episode happened a couple of years ago. I went to a grocery store and put out some business cards on the windshields on cars in a parking lot before doing my groceries. The business cards had a link to the book: “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” by Susan Davis (about how to prepare for the coming of the Lord).<\/p>\n
When I was done with my groceries and about to leave the store I saw a man sitting by the entrance with a paper cup asking for money. I stopped and looked at him. He was a handsome man that didn’t look like a drug addict or a beggar. He was clean and sober. My first thought was that he had to be the son of a rich man! His clothing looked clean and his face looked more like picked out from a commercial for health and beauty. This man was sitting at the floor reaching an empty paper cup toward me and asked me for money. I was wondering; who is he? but did not ask.<\/p>\n
I handed over the only cash I had; a five dollar bill. At the same time I asked him: \u201cHave you heard about Jesus?\u00bb The man answered to my surprise; \u00abI am<\/em> Jesus\u00bb He looked very joyful. He raised up and said: \u00abAnd right now you gave me some money so I can go into the store to buy me something!\u00bb.<\/p>\n I don’t claim to know who that man was but this episode came to my mind today to share with you. I am reminded of this scripture in the bible:<\/p>\n Hebrews 13:2 \u00abDo not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”<\/p>\n !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This episode happened a couple of years ago.
