This is a story that happened to me in my early childhood. I had two older siblings that used to cross the road back and forth by our house and count how many times they were able to cross until a car came so close that you could not run back and fort any longer. So I saw what my older siblings did and I began to to do the same. I could be about maybe 4 years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One time I saw an gray Volkswagen coming in the distant. I remember I was running to cross the road and suddenly everything went frozen. I don’t even know how it all happened but I suddenly lay right in front of one of the front wheels and I steered at the tire. I believe I went into shock and remember the feeling of being frozen. I lay on the road and steered at the tire almost touching the tire with my nose. I was frozen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn’t feel any pain. A man came out of the car and he was hysteric. He believed that he had run over me and he picked me up in his arms and cried. I remember he was crying and running into our house where my mother was in the kitchen. He handed me over to my mother. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I said I was not hurt at all. I have been thinking back on this episode and realize that God prevented an accident that day. I believe that the Lord protected me from getting harmed. I remember the episode like I was the eye that were hovering over this man when he carried me into the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have been thinking about this episode lately, and wonder why this made such an impact on me and how is it that I remember this episode so clearly from my early childhood? Why is it that shocking experiences are easier to remember from our childhood? It’s like the episode is printed in my gens like a milestone! I overcame! The enemy tried to take me out but then God came to my rescue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
